LogEvent

Struct LogEvent

Source
pub struct LogEvent {
    pub level: LogLevel,
    pub level_num: u8,
    pub log: Log,
    pub caller: Option<&'static Location<'static>>,
}
Expand description

A structured log event passed through the ring buffer.

The caller pays only for a Log move (~128-byte memcpy). Serialization happens on the flusher thread.

Fields§

§level: LogLevel

Severity level of this event.

§level_num: u8

Numeric severity for fast level-gating comparisons.

§log: Log

Structured log data. Formatted on the flusher thread, not here.

§caller: Option<&'static Location<'static>>

Call site captured by Log::fire. The flusher adds it to log as the caller attribute before formatting, so the caller’s thread never builds that string.

Implementations§

Source§

impl LogEvent

Source

pub const fn new(log: Log) -> Self

Wrap log as an event at its own level, with no call site.
